Replacing Lead Pipework
Although no longer used for water supply pipes, lead was a very common material used in the linking of house pipework and mains supply pipes, if a property was built before 1970 it is very likely to have lead supply pipes. This over time, depending on the type of lead used can be harmful to the occupants and needs to be replaced as soon as possible.
